PurposeSoutheast Connection organizes two meetings per year where sport, culture and recreation staff and volunteers have the opportunity to network with other communities throughout the south east to find out about current issues, grants, programs and listen to guest speakers. This year Southeast Connection is also hosting an Aquatics Networking meeting. VisionThe Southeast Connection staff and volunteers create a networking system that meets their needs, creates support and assists in their development. Target GroupsRecreation Practitioners, Recreation Boards, Sport Administrators, Culture Administrators, Community sport, culture and recreation volunteers. AQUATICS NETWORKING - Southeast Connection will be hosting this years Aquatics Networking meeting on April 18. This meeting will be a round table discussion on issues relating to aquatic facility maintenance, operations and programming. Network with others and share your ideas! CULTURAL CONNECTION –Southeast Connection will be hosting this years Cultural Connection gathering on May 9 at the Happy Nun in Forget. The gathering focuses on building connections between the District and cultural groups, opportunity to share successes, programs and challenges between southeast groups and a SaskCulture representative will be in attendance.
