artsVest has expanded to Saskatchewan!

What is artsVest?

artsVest is a matching incentive and training program of Business for the Arts designed to stimulate business sponsorship of arts and culture at a local level.

The program will operate in Saskatchewan Districts from 2012-2013, providing a full-day sponsorship workshop to local cultural organizations, taking them step-by-step through the process of securing partnerships with the private sector.

Saskatchewan cultural organizations will also be invited to apply for a total of $150,000 in matching incentive grants, which they will have six months to match with sponsorship from local businesses.

How can my organization apply?

Cultural organizations apply for artsVest matching funds by submitting an application, including their partnership proposal and a list of businesses they intend to approach for sponsorship.
If the application is accepted, a pre-approved amount is reserved for them from the matching funds, which they must match in sponsorship from the business community.

The first form is for sponsorship pre-approval - organizations must apply to be pre-approved for a matching grant, which they then use as an incentive to spark new business sponsorship of their organization. This completed form is due on January 13, 2012. The second form outlines and confirms the partnership between the cultural organization and their business partner and the deadline is June 13, 2012.
