Sport Taping Workshop

FREE For Coaches, Managers, Parents and Volunteers Participating in the 2018 Sask Winter Games!

Southeast Connection in conjunction with the Sports Medicine & Science Council of Saskatchewan (SMSCS) is hosting a Sports Taping workshop. This workshop is a great opportunity for participants to gain the knowledge and first-hand experience dealing with minor injuries to help keep athletes performing at their best!

WHERE: Weyburn Comprehensive High School, Weyburn, SK
WHEN: Saturday, January 13th  from 9:00 a.m. - 5:00 p.m.

  • December 1, 2017 - SNOWBOARD ID CAMP DATE CHANGE - Please note that Sk Snowboarding has changed the date of the Asessippi ID Camp from December 10th to December 9thSk Snowboarding Website
     
  • TABLE TENNIS TRY-OUTS December 9 - click here
  • WRESTLING TRIALS - December 10 - for the SK winter games for the SE will be held in Weyburn Sunday December 10th at 1:00pm

    It will be held at the Soo Line Day Care which is located at 309 1 Ave NW, Weyburn, SK S4H 1T1

Volunteer for Team South East Mission Staff!

Looking for a volunteer experience of a lifetime!?! The look no further, join us on the Team South East Mission Staff in North Battleford for the 2018 Saskatchewan Winter Games from February 18-24, 2018.

The deadline for applications has been extended until November 1, 2017.

Why should you volunteer?

  • Communication skills - in being the conduit between the athletes and the host committee, supplying information to families and people who are watching the games.
  • Teamwork skills - as a part of Mission Staff you are a part of a close knit team of people who work closely together at the Pep Rally and for a whole week at the games!
  • Knowledge Gained - how a large event is hosted and logistics of a sporting event; learn about the different sports; skills in assisting with organizing and preparing for pep rally and onsite-assistance at pep rally - working registration, assisting with uniform sorting and hand outs; meet and greet teams
  • Chef de Mission - decision-making, public speaking, leadership skills

Saskatchewan Games

Southeast Connection Sport, Culture & Recreation District works withthe Saskatchewan Games Council, host community, and Provincial Sport Governing Bodies to put on the Saskatchewan Games Program every two years.

We help promote the Games and our Mission Staff oversee Team South East during the week-long event.
